We’ve been here many times and love it. The last time was for brunch. I don’t remember what my dish was called but the description said it was “like a Mexican lasagna.” It was incredible. Their guac and chips are well worth the price, you just better really like guac. You order at the counter, find a seat in their heated patio, and they bring it out to you. Really friendly, fun place. Great for kids and dogs. Tables are benches. Depending on how busy it is? Wheelchair space at tables could be tricky. Portions are large.
I was here for the Weiner Week corn dawg and it was fairly good. Great twist on a PB&J. There's a fun outside cart area for nomming at next to the bar, with a variety of options that I look forward to trying!
We love going to Tamale Boy! The best Mexican food and the best service. The atmosphere is comfy casual and year round covered outside seating that is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Oh. My. Gawdess. Never have I been a fan of tamales but THESE are epically delicious. Moist, falvorful, presented well. I can't even wrap my head around how good these tamales are. I will be making the 2 hour drive regularly just for these.
Food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared and the drinks are great! Service was friendly and quick. I also love that this is a family friendly spot-they keep games, crayons and paper, and look! Someone who prepared our food even left my kid a smiley face made of crema! Thank you!
OMG. Everything was delicious. The tamales were huge! We got mole, cochinita pibil and rajas. The Brussels Sprouts were great! The jicama and watermelon salad was so fresh. Can’t wait to visit again!!
I live 5 houses from here so I've tried a LOT of things and loved everything. But one thing I really wanted to give a special shout out for was brunch! Great covered and open outdoor seating and the brunch menu is insanely good. They brought back brunch after 3 years of not having it and it is amazing. The picture below was literally 10 for a hefty 3 egg meal that was probably one of the best meals I've had in Portland so far. Don't sleep on brunch here!!!!
